Town Union election was held on Saturday 7th December 2013. The election was very successful. List of the new Town Union Executives are: 1. Engr. Silas Anonde - President General, 2. Construction of Afor Oghe-Amankwo Ndiagu Road

Construction of Afor Oghe-Amankwo Ndiagu Road

Work has commenced on the grading of Amankwo Road,
starting from Afor Oghe to Amankwo Ndiagu. The work started on Tuesday 12th October 2010.

At last the Local Government chairman, Hon, Barr. Julius Arinze Ogbuke has come to fulfill his promise to the Community.

Recall that several visits was made to the chairman by the town union and the councilor, Hon. Festus Magbo and other individuals and pressure groups in Amankwo demanding for the dividends of democracy in the community from the chairman.
