Town Union election was held on Saturday 7th December 2013. The election was very successful. List of the new Town Union Executives are: 1. Engr. Silas Anonde - President General, 2. minutes of November meeting

AMANKWO OGHE TOWN UNION MEETING OF 4TH NOVEMBER 2012. The meeting was held at Amankwo Imezi Primary School. Opening prayer was said by Mr. Livinus Emehelu at about 1.40pm. The secretary read the minutes of September 2nd 2012 and that of October 7th 2012. Motion for adoption of September meeting was moved by Mr. Augustine Obiagbolo seconded by Nseofor Simeon. Motion for adoption of October 7th 2012 was moved by Mr. Livinus Emehelu seconded by Nseofor simeon . Receipt Booklets for the town union. Mr. Michael Ozomadu was thanked for the receipts, 20 receipt booklets, he produced for us. Borehole: Mr. Innocent Okechukwu briefed the house on how far the borehole has gone he said that another borehole has been drilled to the extent that the former one was before it was condemned. He added that the community is required to contribute about N380, 000 for the casing of the borehole according to the information from the government and that the work on the borehole will continue anytime we are able to raise the money and it will be better if we can raise the money as fast as possible so that the government will not abandon project. After people have made their contributions on the issue, it was concluded that the executives should meet with the officials of the women to know how possible it is for them to raise money for us since it has been their intention to give the community water before the government started the project. MTN Mast: It was gathered that the person that the mast was to be build in his land did not meet up with the signing of the required documents to the MTN. The person is Mr. Ephraim Amalu. According to the reporter, Mr. Nsofor Simeon, he said that Mr. Ephraim was not able to meet up because he could not raise the money, N50,000 demanded by H.R.H Igwe C.C Obueke before he can sign the documents. He also said the Igwe insisted that MTN must agree to build two mast one at Amankwo Ndiagu and another at Amankwo Imezi before he can sign their document. New Executives/Members of the town union. On the issue of wards and age grades sending in names of their nominee to the town union, it was ruled that another letter should be written to the wards and age grades on the matter. The Electoral Committee will be formed on December 2012. It was agreed that any ward or age grade who did not nominate a representative will no longer participate in the activities of the town union. The secretary was reminded that he should write a letter to the depute senate president thanking him for him for awarding Amankwo Road in the 2012 budget. Court case with H.R.H and the community. The case was adjoined till 8th November 2012 by 9am .it was noted that only Lawrence Offor and Livinus Emehelu that came to the court to support the Town union, while John Onwuama came to support H.R.H. John Onwuama said he came based on the town union notice he got about the court and not for Igwe Evidence about the chieftaincy installation. Mr. John Onwuama was asked to intimate the town union on his observation on the chieftaibcy installation since he was there as the Master of ceremony. He said he did not see Igwe, giving anybody crown that he introduce Sir Johnson and Mr Kelvin at the occasion with the titles he called them at the occasion because he asked them their titles and they mentioned the names. Borehole issue again: Some officials from Enugu State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (ENRUWASA) came on official visit to see the extent of work on the borehole at Amankwo Imezi Primary School. They promised that they will come and complete the bore hole before the end of the year. Motion for adjournment was moved by Mr. Livinus Emehelu seconded by Mr. John Onwuama. Closing prayer was said by Mr. Innocent Okechukwu at about 3.30pm
