Transformer for Amankwo: Sir Johnson Oguanya explained the issue of transformer and said that it was Hon. Nicodemus and his people that prevented the PHCN people when they came to install the transformer. Sir Johnson narrated his effort and how he paid the PHCN N10, 000 before they agreed to re visit Amankwo. Though another portion has been provided by Umuesiem people for the transformer but the PHCN said there is no material at the moment.
Information from Sir Johnson Oguanya and Benhope Ukata revealed to us that a 500KVA transformer was meant for Amankwo community according to records found at PHCN office in the year 2006. The transformer was in the name of Mr. Moses Ojugbuogu.
